COMMITMENT (SHIFT) DayEveningNightAnyPer Diem, every other Saturday and Sunday from 7:30am to 3:00pm
DESCRIPTION Must have experience in Microbiology. Performs qualitative analysis of clinical specimens including blood, urine, body fluids, CSF, stool and others. Performs proficiency samples, laboratory tests, quality controls, standards, and calibrators. Uses manual methods, medical analyzers and other types of kits. Troubleshoots and maintains instruments and takes corrective actions when necessary. Reports tests results to clinicians.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related field. 5 years minimum in clinical laboratory as a generalist or more than one department. Strong background in Microbiology or General Lab required. ASCP (preferred). NYS required (pending license proof of eligibility required)
