JOB DESCRIPTION: The candidate will also participate in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on multiple projects of varying contract type, size, complexity, and level of risk. The candidate will have significant interface with Project Managers, Contract Management staff, Senior Technical Personnel, as well as other functional organizations.

The System Engineer will act as the implementation lead for a large project on the NASA Integrated Communications Services (NICS) program.
This NASA agency project will expand the existing Remedy ITSM incident and service order services implementation to add other ITSM modules especially Change Management and Configuration management.
The System Engineer will work with personnel at each NASA Center to identify current configuration management data and processes for that Center; participate in planning and testing to move the data to the new system; and lead the actual transition of the data into the new system for each Center.
The System Engineer will be a member of the NICS team providing project deployment support and various deliverables related to deploying projects within Information Technology Information Library (ITIL) framework and NASA Program Management framework, specifically NASA Procedural Requirements 7120.7.
