Job Duties and Responsibilities

As a Program Protection Analyst, you willbe compliant with U.S. Public Law, DoD security policy issuances, and MDA security directives. You will conduct security assessment and analytical services to the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) to include program level security advice, assistance and coordination. Provide comments and recommendations to the Assistant Director for Acquisition Security concerning topics of critical program information (CPI) protection, system security engineering (SSE) and supply chain risk management (SCRM).
Responsibilities include:
· Support BMDS Program Protection, SSE and SCRM programs
· Coordinate and support program offices in the identification and protection of their CPI and critical components. Work closely with the engineering community.
· Support the development and execution of program protection planning
· Review export licenses, contract statements of work, Small Business Innovative Research proposals and other acquisition documentation for CPI and SCRM impacts.
· Review DoD level guidance and make recommendations on MDA impacts.
· Prepare MDA guidance based on interpretations of higher level guidance.
· Audit compliance by program and support contractors concerning their protection of CPI and critical components.
· Review BMDS engineering specifications to verify and validate security requirements.
Qualifications Requires Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Law, Information Technology or related fields and twelve to fifteen years experience in regulatory affairs.
Additional Qualifications . Master's Degree with 2 to 5 years of experience, Bachelor's Degree with 5 to 10 years experience, Associate's Degree with 10 to 15 years of experience, or no degree, but 15+ years of experience.
. Military or industry-based security background in one or more of the identified responsibilities. A working knowledge of Acquisition Lifecycle Management, a basic understanding of engineering principles and/or some type of audit or inspection experience is desirable.
Must have working knowledge and experience with:
. Strong technical written and verbal communication skills essential.
. Microsoft office suite of software
Security Requirements: U.S. Citizenship and an active DOD TS clearance based upon an SSBI completed within the last 5 years. SCI access requirement exists
