Hours: 7p-7a; rotating weekends/holidays
Job Details:
Coordinates patient care and unit activities for assigned shift. Reports to the Manager and participates in leadership of the unit. Assists with evaluating patient outcomes and quality of customer service. Serves as a clinical resource and leadership role model for the staff. Must be proficient with the software appropriate for their department (i.e. Cerner, OMNI, Rad-Net, Pharm-Net, Quest) and demonstrate a thorough understanding of department charges/charge order set(s), department CDM, and charge capture processes (including reconciliation and error correction). Performs other related duties as assigned. Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
To intentionally increase the academic preparation of the BBC nursing community, effective July 1, 2010 new associates hired to positions requiring a Registered Nurse license will require a Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (BSN) or enrollment in a BSN (RN to BSN) program within 12 months of hire. New associate degreed RN graduates with less than two years of experience will be given a 24-month time frame from date of hire for enrollment in a RN to BSN program.
