**Siemens US Talent Acquisition**

_Siemens is looking for a Sales Engineer with a "hunter'smentality" who will be focused on selling the Energy Management Portfolio ofproducts into a regional territory composed of Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri andArkansas. Within this territory, the successfulcandidate will be targeting industrial customers in the Oil & Gas,Chemical, Pulp & Paper and Power markets._ _Reporting to theRegional Sales Manager, the successful candidate will have a background inpower distribution equipment such as medium and low voltage switchgear andmotor control centers, transformers, gas insulated switchgear, energyautomation solutions, as well as a solid working knowledge of how to tie thesecomponents into one solution to promote a complete Siemens package._

_The ideal candidate will be a proven self-starter with a provenhistory developing new customers and exceeding quota expectations in a shorttimeframe. A proven track record of_ _developing and executing sales strategies for this specific territorywill be critical for this individual's success._

_The candidate will need to effectively sell atseveral levels within a customers' organization including engineering, processcontrol, purchasing, and all levels of management (production, operations,maintenance, plant and corporate)._

**_Job Family Responsibilities:_**

+ _This is a quota based sales role in which thesuccessful candidate will have a proven record of exceeding territoryspecific quota objectives._

+ _Must have a clear understanding and commitment toutilization of account planning tools, including maintaining a gapanalysis and regular forecasting._

+ _Guides the development and execution of strategicaccount plans to ensure achievement of the assigned business goals._

+ _Develops / builds / cultivates long-term relationshipswith key management within the customer organization._

+ _Focused on developing account strategies thatassure continued customer loyalty and maximizing sales._

+ _Must possess excellent presentation skills forarticulating Siemens' overarching value proposition._

+ _Must possess a working knowledge of electricalapplications that will serve as a basis for guiding customer planning andbudgeting._

+ _Strong analytical skills in order to interpretand forecast changes in customers' buying patterns and product requirements._

+ _Develops sponsorship with key decision-makerswithin the customer organization._

**_Key Responsibilities:_**

+ _Creation and maintenance of account plans andmaintenance of a territory gap-analysis data is a requirement._

+ _Proactively address potential problems andprovide effective solutions in relation to application of concepts,techniques, knowledge, or processes._

+ _Collaboration with other Siemens sales teams is amust, therefore a proven record of inter-cooperation is required._

+ _Display a high level of critical thinking tobring successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and/orcross-functional problems._

+ _Performs full range of standard work for the rolewith little to no supervision._

+ _Identifies and resolves more complex problems andapplies problem-solving skills to proactively resolve conflict._

+ _Desire to grow and openness to new ideas inmarket approach._

+ _Required maintenance of all customer and activitytracking CRM system to ensure transparency of data across all divisions._


+ _BS/BA in electrical engineering or relateddiscipline, or advanced degree, where required._

+ _Equivalent combination of education andexperience may be required._

**_Knowledge and Experience:_**

+ _2-5 years of industrial electrical solutionselling experience is required. Experiencewith power distribution equipment such as medium and low voltageswitchgear, motor control centers, transformers, and energy automation isa plus._

+ _Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge oforganization's business practices and issues faced and contributes toproblem resolution of those issues._

+ _Advanced degree MAY be substituted forexperience, where applicable._

+ _Experience working with client at executive andoperations levels is a plus._

+ _Electrical Engineering Background is a plus._
