Responsible for the leadership and project management of complex multi-disciplinary projects. Knowledge of constructionanddesign aspects of acoal and gas fired projectsis required. Provides managerial expertise on contract set-up, organizational management, staffing and client management. Responsible for the direction of project planning, budgeting and establishing critical project objectives. Will direct and coordinate activities of multiple disciplines on projects. Regularly meets and corresponds with contractors and owner agencies. Initiates and maintains extensive contacts with key individuals of other organizations, requiring skill in persuasion and negotiation of critical issues. Assists in development of strategies and qualification packages for successful pursuits. Will assist in contract negotiations and preparation. Directs coordination with clients and other external contacts. Recommends, authors and presents technical papers. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree in engineering or related field from an accredited curriculum. Master''s degree in engineering is preferred. Minimum 20 years of experience in thepowerindustry including at least10years of experience in the project management of projects over $50M in value. Must have project management experience on multipledisciplineprojects. Experience inEPCprojects is preferred. Must have experience in a leadership role in the pursuit and execution ofpower industryprojects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Requires an individual capable of applying intensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices to broad areas of assignments. Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered. Previous consulting experiencepreferred.
