Associate Data Warehouse Programmer Analyst

*Description/Job Summary*
*Fruit of the Loom, *an independent, wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. & leading international basic apparel company, has an immediate opening for an *Associate Data Warehouse Programmer Analyst* at its corporate headquarters in Bowling Green, KY.
The Associate Data Warehouse Programmer Analyst is responsible for the expansion and support of the Enterprise Data Warehouse. The primary focus is on analyzing disparate sources of data, designing a star schema in conjunction with the Data Warehouse Architects and implementing an ETL (extract, transform and load) process to move the data from the source system into the star schema.
* Design and develop an ETL process to incorporate source data into the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
* Work in concert with a Data Warehouse Architect to design star schemas over varied sources of data which meet the business requirements.
* Support the nightly ETL job stream, includes some after-hours support as needed.
* Work closely with the Data Warehouse Architect and Information Analyst team to ensure data designs and business reporting requirements are supported by the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
* Participate in all required steps of the SDLC process, including but not limited to documentation, testing and implementation
* Participate in offered training opportunities as well as conduct self-lead training over relevant topics.
* Ensure all code is stored in the appropriate source control system. Confirm code follows best practices and standards as laid out by Enterprise Data Warehouse and IT policies.
*Required Experience*
* 0-2 years of experience in data warehousing
* Experience with Kimball Group Data Warehousing techniques preferred, but not required.
*Required Qualifications*
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field.
o Required Technical Qualifications - SQL
o Preferred Technical Qualifications - Oracle Database, SQL Server, Teradata, Pl/SWL, T-SQL, Python, Shell, Windows Batch Scripting, Linux, Windows Server
