Position Overview:

Conduent is seeking a Network Engineer Level I to work as part of a team in a 24x7 365 day Global Network Operations Center. The Network Engineer Level I position is responsible for triaging incoming alerts from a variety monitoring applications and escalating issues as needed in a timely manner to make sure nominal SLA impact is achieved. Work well in a team environment, ability to multi-task minimal supervision and persistence with follow-up on issues is expected.

This role will be integral in supporting this 24x7, 7 days a week operation with 3 shift work needed. An on call schedule with rotations is required.

In this role, you'll be collaborating with an innovative team of people moving forward and working to improve systems and processes along the way.

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Monitor real time dashboards and alerts; proactively addressing issues.

+ Perform basic troubleshooting and management; coordinate with appropriate support teams when necessary.

+ Able to triage incidents by priority level and escalate to Level 2 support when needed.

+ Provide Level 1 troubleshooting and validation of alerts for critical infrastructure components.

+ Participate in tracking and prioritization of alerts and ensure incidents are handed off during shift changeover.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with team members on an ongoing basis.

+ Meet SLA requirements, by resolving and/or escalating tickets in a timely manner.
