**Role Summary:**

The Digital Production Designer will be a part of the BHGE Commercial Excellence team. You will work alongside the Design Director assisting in bringing ad-hoc design requests and special long-term projects to life. In this position you will be expected to use your full range of visual design and production skills as well as mastery of digital tools to deliver consumer grade experiences.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

In the role of Digital Production Designer, you will:

+ Support the creation and maintenance of creative assets for multiple medias including power point decks, brochures, banners, landing pages, videos, and email communications

+ Assist in conceptualizing, designing, and executing ideas.

+ Support design consistency and quality across multiple digital channels, device platforms and screen resolutions.

+ Understand and interpret brand, user, and business needs, to develop innovative, creative, pixel-perfect and results-oriented digital solutions

+ Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends, digital platforms and competitive landscape and apply best practices your work

+ Create and manage visual design documentation and specifications.

+ Collaborate closely with development of the BHGE Global Ops Digital Platforms to make sure designs are implemented as intended **Qualifications/Requirements:**

+ Bachelor's Degree in a Design/Arts field from an accredited college or university

+ Minimum 3 years of experience of hands-on design experience in a professional environment such as advertising agency, digital agency, in-house design consultancy ans/or tech-startups **Desired Characteristics:**

+ Strong design portfolio, preferably online

+ Proficient in the Adobe CS Suite

+ Excellent typographic and photography retouching skills

+ Proven ability to work within brand guidelines with a detail-oriented approach with superior follow-through

+ An understanding of current mobile and desktop patterns and ability to translate wireframes / sketches into final polished designs

+ Understanding of capabilities and limitations of front end technologies, including CSS, HTML, and JavaScript (you will not be expected to code)

+ Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently with a strong sense of urgency

+ Driven, self-motivated and results oriented team player

+ Strong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff including senior management team

+ Video Editing skills

+ Coding knowledge in the following languages - HTML / CSS / JavaScript
