Applicants and employees in positions which perform job duties that may require contact with offenders in the custody or supervision of the Department of Corrections or with youth in the care, custody, or supervision of the Department of Juvenile Justice must meet qualifications pursuant to the federal Prison Rape Elimination Act, 28 C.F.R.115.17 and 115.317.Description of Job Duties:This position will be the primary technical support specialist for Commonwealth Office of Technology enterprise applications in the Data Services and Business Intelligence Branch, specifically the Commonwealth's Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system. The preferred candidate will have experience in supporting enterprise level applications in a Windows Server/Active Directory environment across multiple domains; experience with application role-based security procedures and user provisioning; skilled in identifying, analyzing and resolving data and system issues; possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and effectively collaborate with team, leadership, and end users; proven experience preparing system documentation, operating procedures and administrative procedures.Special Requirements ::NONE.Job Group ::INFORMATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEMSCharacteristics of the Job ::Installs, implements, modifies and supports complex operating systems, online transaction processing software (OLTPs) and database software products. Prepares documentation for operational support and provides technical assistance to support staff and end users; and performs other duties as required.Minimum Requirement - Education ::Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.Minimum Requirement - Experience ::Must have four years of professional experience in computer operating systems, computer programming, systems support, and/or systems analysis.Substitute Education for Experience ::Related technical or vocational training will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year for year basis. A master's degree in computer science will substitute for one year of the required experience.Substitute Experience for Education ::Experience in computer programming, systems analysis, systems support, and/or computer operations will substitute for the bachelor's degree requirement on a year for year basis.
