**Purpose**

To function as a shift supervisor by providing leadership, directions, coaching, and motivation to all bottling, logistics, and processing personnel. Develop, manage, and lead a performance-oriented and efficient team-based staff to produce a high quality finished product.


**Key Outputs/Deliverables**


+ Develop new processes and programs to reduce and minimize losses.

+ Interview and hire employees; resolve conflicts; coordinate daily staffing

+ Ensure efficient and high quality bottling efforts and standards. Optimize safety, quality, production, and cost objectives through employee involvement and team building approach to problem solving.

+ Train and monitor personnel to ensure proper procedures are followed.

+ Communicate bottling schedules and schedule changes to appropriate departments.

+ Direct the planning and implementation of key initiatives to improve production efforts.

+ Ensure all monthly safety and food safety audits are completed on time, all corrective action items are completed, and all employees understand the goals.

+ Review all processing, bottling, and logistics documentation to ensure it is filled out accurately and completely.

+ Analyze all quality documentation to ensure completion and make recommendations to Quality Control Manager for continuous improvement.

+ Ensure applicable databases are properly maintained and information utilized for continuous improvement.

+ Monitor parts and supplies inventories and place all necessary orders to ensure business needs are met.

+ Work with Bottling and Processing Manager to manage assigned budget.

+ Generate ideas and implement changes in processes and use of equipment to increase efficiency, improve safety and quality, reduce costs, and improve employee morale.

+ Develop new SOP's and train staff as applicable.

+ Remain abreast of industry changes and new technology, equipment, systems, and procedures as they relate to improving the distilling area.

+ Work with management staff on productivity, quality, and safety issues.

+ Manage capital projects in Bottling and Processing operations, with guidance from bottling and processing manager.

+ Coordinate all production efforts with 1 st shift Team Lead.

+ Carry out other duties as assigned by the Bottling and Processing Manager.


**Experience and Requirements**


+ BA/BS in Business, Management, Science or Engineering, five plus years of people management experience in a bottling or production facility; or equivalent combination of education and experience in bottling operations.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Ability to maintain a professional bearing and appearance at all times.

+ Strong leadership and management understanding and experience.

+ Strong analytical and budgeting skills.

+ Excellent organization and time-management skills.

+ Must have the ability to tactfully plan and execute production efforts across multiple departments, and to understand the several inputs and outputs.

+ Computer literate: SAP, Microsoft Office

+ Must work well with other departments, as well as all levels of management.

+ Must be customer oriented.


Thorough working knowledge in relevant standards such as PSM (Process Safety Management), OSHA, HACCP, and ISO.
