Job Responsibilities: Job Responsibilities:
Principle responsibility of the position is to reliably supply quality, low cost roofing granules to all customers.
. Responsible for management of all mill operations, maintenance activities, improvement programs in safety, and cost reductions.
. Position demands a thorough technical understanding of all aspects of cost-effective manufacturing of headlap roofing granules including crushing, screening, statistical process control, and proper maintenance and operation of equipment.
. Position requires leadership skills to train, develop, and motivate operators as well as strong planning and organization skills.
. Must have the knowledge and be capable of implementing sound safety, environmental and housekeeping programs.
. Supervises day-to-day activities of the operations; may have involvement in Quarry operation.
Education requirements: B. S. Degree in Engineering, Science, Industrial Management or similar discipline or the equivalent training and experience that provides a comprehensive working knowledge of the practices and procedures of a manufacturing operation.
