Shopper Marketing Sr Manager

The position of SeniorManager-Shopper Marketing, Walmart & Sam's Club is a critical role for DPSG as it will contribute to growing DPSG sales and profit by supporting this retailer in the development, execution and analysis of shopper marketing plans.

The role demands a polished, results oriented, analytical thinker with strong project management skills. They must bring solution-based thinking, analytical rigor and an extraordinary level of drive to this position.

This individual will need to drive shopper solutions that imbed omnichannel solutions. They must have a proven track record of results for the business they manage and the ability to analyze results to prove-out ROI on the projects they lead.

Critical to the success of this role is the partnership they must create with the broader organization. The ability to work with and influence cross-functional partners is critical as this role will interact will various departments in the organization including Sales, Omnichannel Marketing, Brand Activation, Insights, Brand Marketing, Category Management, Revenue Margin Management, Legal, and external agency partners.

Position Responsibilities:

Business Integration/Alignment
* Proactively builds effective working relationships with key cross functional groups including but not limited to Sales, Omnichannel Marketing, Activation, Insights, Brand Marketing, Category Management, Revenue Margin Management, Legal and external agency partners
* Places higher priority on team or organization goals versus personal goals

* Implements effective means for coaching and development of direct report(s)
Program development and execution
* Collaboratively determines course of action to realize mutually beneficial goals
* Actively works to challenge the status quo in order to simplify and streamline the overall process in order to deliver best in class programs, efficiently
* Comfortable with unfamiliar situations in order to test and learn so that we can advance and share new learnings in order to create best practices
* Leverage strong project management discipline to establish planning principles, critical dates and deliverable expectations for key account needs
* Drive decision-making that will lead to program enhancements and process improvements
* Provide appropriate visibility to the development, execution and results of the key account planning deliverables
* Work with key sales counterparts to provide field-level program details in a timely manner to drive impact in-store.
Analytical Rigor/Post-Analysis/Financial Management
* Leverage IRI tools to analyze syndicated data to identify opportunities and risks to the business and recommend solutions to address
* Develop fact-based sell stories that enable the successful sell-in of shopper marketing programs
* Conduct post-program analysis of all shopper marketing programs to show impact on key metrics like sales, behavior metrics and long-term impact.
* Build and manage shopper marketing budget and T&E to maximize spend and deliver results
* Focus expenditures against value-driving initiatives, and provide early visibility to budget overages or shortfalls

* 5 years of Shopper, Brand, experience via agency , selling ormarketing. Digital and Omnichannel experience a plus.
* 5 years experience analyzing and running reports using IRI or Nielsen and strong analytics including ability to analyze syndicated and internal business reports
* 5 years experience in project and fiscal management , including executing a project from start to finish.
* 5 years experience in Excel and PowerPoint.
* Position will require 15-20% travel.
* Bachelors degree
