We have a great opportunity for an experienced Driver/Shipper to join our team in Rome, NY. Tektronix will invest in your personal and professional growth by providing you with education and training opportunities to keep current in your field. The work environment is fast-paced and high-energy.
In this role, you will be supporting our customers by conducting pickup and delivery service and packing and shipping. Additionally you will be receiving work for the on-site laboratory. You will be the liaison between our organization and the customer.
Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:
* U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status required
* Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
* Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role required
* Minimum of 1 year packaging and shipping experience required
* Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping software required
* Receiving experience preferred.
* Previous occupational driving experience preferred as this position will require daily pick up & deliveries
* Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications with an emphasis on Excel & Word required
* Strong data entry skills required
* Experience in a billing and/or data tracking database desired
* Experience with Labmate, Gage, Oracle a plus
* Prior experience working in a formal quality system/program required
* Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
* Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including occasional over time.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills with employees and customers at all levels
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
* Makes effective decisions by analyzing information and considering priorities

Provide installation and service for power monitoring and control systems, including Schneider Electric / Square D PowerLogic, Powerlink, and other intelligent product systems. Work with sales engineers, service sales engineers and other stakeholders to provide installation/commissioning/repair services for integrated power monitoring and control systems in industrial, commercial, and critical power applications. Your Responsibilities
