A Mental Health Worker serves as a member of the nursing team, under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse, and is responsible for a variety of non-professional functions involving both direct and indirect patient care for patients from age adult to the geriatric period. The Mental Health Worker fosters patient participation in the program milieu and offers support to patients in coping with an immediate situation. Must have CPR. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
