Adjustment/Refund Clerk- Pt Financial Services - Full Time, Days

Receives refund requests from insurance companies and verifies refund is due. Processes refunds to insurance companies based on our contracts. Processes patient refunds accordingly, checking other accounts for open balances, and verifying payment. Files appeals if necessary, appealing refund requests. Monitors credit balance report daily. Maintains Medicare quarterly report. Schedule audits upon requests from insurance company.
