Payment Processing Representative

*GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES* - Review of scheduled check by phone/reoccurring check by phone payments via Exception for payments accepted via phone and IVR, for HCA and non-HCA hospitals. Manage and research accounts when credit cards cannot be posted through HPS or Zirmed.

*STARTING SALARY: *$11.88/hr -$14.50/hr - based on prior payment processing experience.

Review of scheduled CBP/RCBP checks via Exception reports for payments accepted over the phone and via IVR, for HCA and non-HCA hospitals.
Follow up with external hospitals on credit cards payments accepted by phone by RCPS that have not been posted by the hospital in a timely manner.
Authorize and post manual credit card payments through HPS, ZirMed, and client payment portals.
Establish and maintain contacts at facilities for prompt resolution of unresolved credit card payments.
Maintain credit card and check by phone queue(s) in an effective and efficient manner to ensure timely posting of payments and reduce account aging.
Demonstrate good judgment in escalation of problem accounts to management, as necessary.
Communicate with team members and other members of management regarding issues related to credit card and check by phone payments.
Review HPS and ZirMed Daily Exception and Reconciliation Reports.
Notify and perform follow-up on system problems involving HPS and ZirMed.
Achieve quality review scores per unit requirements.
Work within company attendance guidelines.
Work with other team members and management in a professional manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.

High School diploma or GED preferred.

At least six months work experience desired.
