Be a part of the Business Analysis Competency Center in Information Technology - where we bring business analysis thought leadership to our technology project

The Process Consultant will analyze, create, improve and implement new processes and practices across various functional areas of Humana, evaluating the effects of process changes by quantitatively and qualitatively measuring them against internal and external benchmarks.
* Identify and resolve barriers to performance from determining root cause analysis, creating process mapping and resolution - implementation.

* Oversee the improvement process.

* Ensure standardization of processes across multiple areas of focus.

* Promote the implementation of best practices.

* Evaluate current state processes and offer recommendations to either 1) re-engineer the manual process to gain efficiencies, 2) automate the process using Intelligent Automation options, or 3) suggest another technology solution.

Role Essentials

* 2-3 years in process design / improvement

* Experience in Lean / Six Sigma methodology

* Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams

* Works effectively in situations involving uncertainty or lack of information (able to "connect the dots")

* Able to quickly adapt to changing requirements/direction when necessary

* Able to build consensus among multiple stakeholders

* Ability to create process maps/flows for current state processes through interviews without pre-existing documentation

* Ability to translate documentation into process maps of varying level of detail

* Advanced skills in: Visio, PowerPoint, Excel
Role Desirables

* Six sigma green/black belt

* Change leadership experience

* Familiarity with intelligent automation technologies, such as WorkFusion and Automation Anywhere

Reporting Relationships
You will report to a Manager. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Service & Information Officer.
