We are searching for Electricians to join our client’s growing team. Basic duties of the Electrician include repairing, installing and maintaining manufacturing equipment. This person will be required to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems, while working individually or as a part of a team with other maintenance and production personnel.
Qualifications for the position include:
A strong emphasis on safety and good safety practices
PLC system building, programming and troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of control systems
Extensive AC and DC drive experience
Basic mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
Ability to interpret electrical schematics for repair, installation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
Preferred qualifications include:
Heavy industry or steel industry experience
Journeyman license
Good understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
