Job Description
Performs vision, hearing, dental, and scoliosis health screening tests. Provides emergency first aid. Assesses health needs of students and faculty. Counsels students about chronic illnesses, nutrition, disease prevention, and positive lifestyles. Interprets medical data for students with disabilities. Participates in investigation of suspected child abuse and neglect. Perform standard procedures that might be needed for students with disabilities--- including changing diapers, gastrostomy tube feeding, tracheotomy care, responds to a child having a seizure, uses oxygen in the classroom or on the bus. Requires LPN license.
Requirements
At least 2 yrs prior experience as LPN, prefer experience working with children previously
