Responsibilities
Areas of responsibility include assisting the customer by providing the necessary C4ISR documents that are required by NAVSEA for C4I integration, provide facilitation and technical support to the customer for workgroup sessions, briefings and IPT¿s related to the C4I integration efforts for the Auxiliary IPT, identification, tracking and mitigating project risks, including but not limited to, schedule, costs, security and technical functionality, system installation oversite.
Provide oversight of C4I and Distributed System spaces include taking an active role in developing realistic schedules that are obtainable to meet production, testing, SOVTs and IT schedule dates to guaranty a successful trial.
Provide support by contacting personnel and coordinate the different SOVT dates with the different ISEAs.
Understand C4I systems and how they are intergrated together.
Attend meetings about subject matter ranging from CBSP, PBX, FMRs, IA, DMR, Scheduling, CND, ISNS, GCCS-M, TACAN, IFF, NTCSS and Program Reviews.
Provide Test and Integration Facility (TIF) in Charleston, SC. include looking over engineering designs and how new equipment is installed and correcting potential problems from layout issue, power deficiency, to addressing maintenance reservations.
Understand network theorys and how systems interreact with the networks.
Qualifications
BS degree in Computer Science/ Electrical Engineering/ Computer Management or equivelant experience
5 years experience in DOD C4ISR systems
Minimum of 3 years using MS Office products to include work within Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong verbal communication skills
Self starter, ability to work unsupervised
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities with minimal supervision
This position will require a clearance, applicants must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
