We have an opening for a Sr Manager, Advertising who will be responsible for the leadership of external Advertising for American Girl.
Responsibilities include:
-Develop external advertising strategies and campaigns to support overall brand and experience, sub-brands, channel and market growth
-Develop annual advertising and media plans for paid advertising vehicles '' broadcast, print and digital
-Manage and deliver overall marketing plan to meet financial targets and strategic business goals
-Drive strategic thinking for evolving marketing mix to drive consistent total business growth and growth across sub-brands and channels
-Proactively initiate testing and evaluation of new mediums and contact streams to maximize demand creation
-Routinely analyze marketing performance and make recommendations on mix allocations of total marketing budget by sub-brand, channel, media vehicle and season
-Lead marketing planning process, total marketing budget management, and external advertising leadership/management
-Work cross functionally to operationalize the marketing plan
Requirements:
-Bachelors degree in Marketing or Business
-7-10 years of experience
-Omni-channel and multimedia marketing planning experience with a proven record of successfully advancing the business
-Experience and knowledge in brand building
-Experience working with creative and media agencies
-Ability to accurately maintain budget and project management in a timely manner
-Ability to simultaneously lead multiple areas and collaborate effectively with a variety of audiences
