Berger Health System is currently seeking a compassionate and caring individual to work in our growing healthcare facility as a Patient Care Tech. Selected individual will have the opportunity to impact the patient''s experience while providing direct patient care and documentation for assigned patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Med/Surg Patient Care Techs provide care to a diverse age group of patients with a variety of medical and/or surgical conditions.
Qualified candidates must be high school graduates. Minimal requirements for Med/Surg positions are EMT, paramedic, MA, STNA or equivalent, or nursing student.Graduation from a PCT program is strongly preferred.Certification in CPR is required within 3 months of hire. Ability to work rotating shifts is required.
