Title: ATV/MUV BRAKE RESEARCH ENGINEER
Location: Ohio-Raymond
Responsibilities will include conducting testing for ATV/MUV brake system components. This will include brake operation/performance and feeling, thermal characteristics, vibration resistance, environmental adaptability, regulation compliance, maintenance and service ability. Additional responsibilities will include vehicle set-up, component removal/installation, troubleshooting, data acquisition and analysis, implementing countermeasures, reporting and working with various groups during the development. Occasionally test off-site in severe environmental conditions will be required.
BSME and a minimum of 1 year experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience with data acquisition, thermocouples, accelerometers and ATV riding experience desired. Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required. Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.
