But before you read it, let's look at a little common sense. Whether you see an individual on their video resume or in person for the final interview, their appearance WILL make an impression on you. When you stop and think about it, isn't that what the written resume, the new suit and the video resume is designed to do? Of course it is. At the end of the day you not only want the impression but the reality that this person is the individual best suited for this job. It is only when you allow the factors that are irrelevant to the job such as; race or ethnic background, gender, religion, or political affiliation, affect your hiring decision that you have done wrong. Lets face it that information is certainly not limited to a video resume. So keep things not only in perspective but in proper order. Read the cover letter, listen to the audio introduction, peruse the written resume, THEN look at the video resume and schedule that interview.
