Department Description: The contingent Retail Pharmacist position requires candidates to float to various Retail Pharmacy offices within St. John Providence Health System.
Job Summary:Under general supervision, applies professional and technical skills in order to compound and dispense medications and accessories. Serves as liaison between public and health professionals by providing drug information, as necessary. Responsible to monitor the pharmacy work group in a clinically oriented retail pharmacy.
Required Certifications, Registration or Licensure:
Possess current State of Michigan Board of Pharmacy Registered Pharmacist License and Controlled Substance License.
Minimum Knowledge and Education:
Graduate of accredited School orCollegeofPharmacy
Minimum Work Experience:
Prefer a minimum of two years of experience in retail pharmacy practice
