General Description: The applications developer will be a member of a high-performing software development team building a large-scale next generation sample and project management suite.
The developer we are looking for:
a has demonstrated ability moving between concrete and abstract concepts
a has proven experience in designing and architecting large, complex applications with a team
a has proven experience in SDLC and OOP
a has proven experience in putting Agile principles to work
a has proven experience in an Agile teaching/coaching organization
a is passionate about quality code and able to balance this passion with hitting deadlines
a is willing to put team performance above personal performance
a has proven experience in working in an open and collaborative environment
a has demonstrated that paired programming and TDD can create quality in software product(s)
a is dedicated to becoming a craftsperson of the trade
a is comfortable with constructive conflict
a is able to speak to business and other stakeholders, representing developer concerns effectively
a is a systems thinker
a is college educated. A Bachelor’s is required; Master’s is desired.
a has experience with C#.Net framework and SQL
These experiences and qualities are also desired:
a automated testing frameworks (e.g. Fit, Robot, Selenium)
a business analysis
a UI/UX
The applications developer will join a team of approximately 8-10 others working within an Agile environment, utilizing test-driven development (TDD) and paired-programming approaches. The application is being developed in C#.NET with MS SQL server.
