Looking for nurses to work contingent in both the Pre-op and also Phase I and Phase II Recovery areas of the Surgical Services at the Grosse Pointe Hospital. Mininum 1 year Critical Care experience required. BLS required. ACLS preferred or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
Required: The Clinical Nurse utilizes the nursing process with depth and understanding. Develops and implements plan of care for patient''s based on scientific research rationale. Communicates patient outcomes & changes to multidisciplinary team members. Delegates assignments/tasks with appropriate follow-up. Contributes to achievement of unit objectives. Develops teaching strategies for patient/family. Serves as mentor/resource for members of health care team. Maintains current knowledge in area of clinical practice. Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing, current Michigan registered nurse license. BLS, other certifications as required by department. Paygrade NN-7
