Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technologies professionals, has an immediate direct hire opening for a Machinist with a leading full service design, engineering, program management and manufacturing organization proudly serving the Defense, Industrial, and Aerospace industries in Northern Macomb County.
Responsible for machining parts from blueprints. Duties include:
1. Program, set up and machine parts to print.
2. Must be able to work independently.
3. Clean equipment and work area.
4. Communicate with operators from other shifts.
5. Complete required paperwork for each job.
6. Maintain a professional attitude toward fellow employees.
7. Must have good attendance and be punctual.
8. Must have basic tools to perform job requirements.
Requires 5 years experience on similar equipment. Fidia controller experience a plus. Must be proficient in "G" code programming or Mastercam programming. Basic knowledge of GD&T required Must know fractional and decimal call outs. Must be able to read blueprints. Trade school, High School Diploma or GED required. Shop environment, must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds is required.
