Location Description
St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Oakland Center, is a 159-bed acute care, osteopathic teaching hospital. With a 400-member medical staff, St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Oakland Center, offers more than 35 medical and surgical specialties, with a focus on advanced diagnostics and treatment for cancer, cardiac, psychiatric and aging patients. The hospital also features a Sleep Disorders Clinic that diagnoses and treats people with sleeping problems and related illnesses such as sleep apnea.

Job Summary
Performs PATs, H & Ps, day to day management in collaboration with surgical and medicine team. 45 bed unit avg census 32. Able to float to other units in hospital as needed with Med/Surg as primary unit.
Required Certifications, Registration or Licensure:
Current Michigan RN Licensure.
National Certification Exam for Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
State of Michigan Board of Nursing Nurse Practitioner Specialty Certification
Advanced certification in pain management preferred.
Once hired:
Credentialed by Medical Staff with Medical Staff status of Paramedical Professional
Minimum Knowledge and Education:
Master''s of Science in Nursing
Minimum Work Experience:
Previous hospital practice experience, knowledge and experience in assigned discipline.
