Title: Sr. J2EE Developer
Location: NJ-Warren
. Design and develop complex SOA based enterprise applications and components that are mission-critical and high-availability in nature.
. Actively participate in design and brainstorming sessions to translate business requirements into proper technology solutions.
. Attack technical challenges, research solutions and provide SME advice across several technologies.
. Operate in a fast paced environment interacting with a number of cross functional and global teams.
. Provide technical recommendations and guidance to team members when needed. . Co-ordinate and occasionally lead development efforts with onsite and offshore vendor teams
Must Have
. Overall 5 years of Java/J2EE based IT experience.
. 3 years of hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, Websphere/Weblogic, Oracle & PL/SQL.
. Expert at application development utilizing Adobe Flex, Apache CXF, web-services; all major Java technologies like Servlets, JSP, Struts, EJB, JMS, JDBC, JUnit, Ant; major open source technologies like Apache Xalan, Xerces, log4J, FOP, DBCP etc.
. Expert at applying OOA/D and well known design patterns to application development.
. Experience designing data schema, aligning the data model to suit specific performance requirements, stored proc/query tuning, large data feed handling and cross schema data migration.
. Excellent oral communication, technical and business writing skills.
. Good insight into application profiling, performance tuning and enhancement.
. Familiarity with major web technologies like DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, ExtJS etc.
. Familiarity with software development life cycle methodologies.
. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
. Self-disciplined, self-motivated, articulate, responsible candidate who can take complete ownership of tasks assigned.
. Bachelors or Masters in CS, IT or a related field.
Desirable
. Working knowledge of iLog JRules, Tibco iProcess, BusinessWorks is a plus.
. Commercial banking experience or Credit Risk experience is desireable.
