Key Role:
Provide technical subject matter expertise as a space technology researcher for Autonomous Space Flight Control Systems. Perform research in the area of space vehicle guidance, navigation and control flight software, including autonomous decision making strategies and algorithm development for spacecraft and constellations of spacecraft, autonomous guidance navigation and control technologies, intelligent control algorithms, and intelligent reasoning software. Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This position is located in Albuquerque, NM.
Basic Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with artificial intelligence algorithm development
-5 years of experience with autonomous vehicle development
-Experience with Microsoft Office
-Knowledge of software engineering processes
-Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree required
Additional Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with spacecraft flight software development
-5 years of experience with automated vehicle test and evaluation
-Knowledge of spacecraft dynamics and control methods
-Possession of excellent organizational skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills
-BA or BS degree in Engineering, Physics, or a Science-related field preferred
