AdWorks IPTV Account Executive (General Marketplace)

AT&T AdWorks is rapidly growing in expectation of becoming AT&T’s next billion dollar business.  We are looking for industry veterans who revel in the prospect of building a better approach to advertising sales that utilizes the inherent strengths of the world’s largest telecommunications company.  AT&T AdWorks is the face to the market for AT&T’s newest ad products across IPTV, Mobile, and Internet.  
AT&T AdWorks seeks a seasoned professional to sell television advertising on it’s U-verse platform.  The opportunity includes:
-          Manage advertising agencies/clients in a key market(s) for general market opportunities
-          Manage advertising agencies/clients in a key market(s) for advanced television inventory
We are seeking a person with aspirations to be part of the future of advanced television. This person will grow with a television sales organization that aspires to be an industry leader and interactive innovator. 
 
Responsibilities 
-          Participate in weekly sales meetings to review sales targets and progress against goals. 
-          Work toward sales quotas and budgets that include the identification and assignment of target markets and accounts
-          Closing sales against National and growing new business.  Making sales presentations and ensuring that positive relations are maintained at all accounts by remaining in regular communication with accounts 
-          Communicate status of region''s sales efforts by preparing sales reports
-          May perform other related duties as required

- Requirements:
-          Bachelor’s degree or equivalent strongly preferred
-          Minimum of 5 years of sales experience with a minimum of 3 years National Sales experience in general market television sales
-          Ability to travel on a regular basis for meetings and sales calls 
-          Ability to sell and implement conceptual sales programs and methodologies 
-          Experience or working knowledge of advanced television space is a plus
-          Strong agency contacts in assigned territory 
-          Ability to use modern tools for assimilation and dissemination of sales information 
-          Knowledge of sales support, traffic and EDI methodologies to communicate with clients 
-          Working knowledge of various research tools (Nielsen, Rentrak, Strata)
-          Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
-          Strong professional verbal and written communication skills
-          Strong people and relationship management skills
-          Demonstrated strong presentation and sales skills
-          Ability to create and give executive presentations
-          Ability to effectively communicate in person, telephone and emailCategory: Consumer Sales
