For more than 44 years, Ralph Lauren''s reputation and distinctive image have been consistently developed across an expanding number of products, brands and international markets.Purpose and Scope: The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for establishing strategies, processes and programs to enable talent acquisition for the Corporate office functions including but not limited to Buying/Merchandising/Planning/Shared Services/Operations for Ralph Lauren Retail Group - North America. Responsibilities: -¢ Responsible for creating process, tools and systems within the business in order to improve talent acquisition process -¢ Provide leadership and thought partnership to hiring managers, business partners and HR Generalists -¢ Drive consistent internal mobility process as well supports cross brand development -¢ Demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of industry information and competitive landscape -¢ Responsible for proactively sourcing candidates through internet/social media external vehicles, cold-calling, networking, internet, employee referrals, internal movement and other creative sourcing venues. -¢ Deliver high quality work and demonstrate operational excellence through utilization of recruiting tools and resources; ensure quality and integrity of metrics through discipline in process -¢ Commit to supporting and driving key business and functional initiatives and achieving goals - help builds a culture of priority and ownership regarding the acquisition of talent -¢ Gathering stakeholder feedback from brand business leaders and HRGs; utilizing feedback to drive quality and effectiveness -¢ Building relationships across all brand and functions, HRGs and Talent Acquisition partners to share internal and external talent and collaborating to support process improvements and sharing of best practices -¢ Lead and develop team of 3 people -¢ Managing assigned budget on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Experience: Minimum of 8 years experience in Talent Acquisition Education: Preferred Bachelor-Ts degree preferred or PHR certification Skills: -¢ Demonstrated expertise in selection and assessment methods. -¢ Strong customer service skills. -¢ Strong technical capability to learn on-line recruiting applications. -¢ Handles sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. -¢ Able to manage multiple and shifting priorities, highly effective in dealing with ambiguity. -¢ Establishes strong business partner relationships. -¢ Capable to communicate at all levels in a clear and concise manner; seen as a strategic partner. -¢ Able to work independently as well as in a team environment in a fast paced energetic culture. -¢ Advanced relationship management skills. -¢ Well developed written presentation and editing skills. -¢ Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation skills, and customer service skills. -¢ Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail; strong project management skills. -¢ Proactive and solution oriented. -¢ Able to work in a high pressure environment with changing priorities. -¢ Detailed understanding of Federal and State Labor Laws. -¢ Must demonstrate exceptional judgment, discretion and professional courtesy. -¢ 2+ years people management experience preferred -¢ Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and familiarity with HRIS systems.
