S/he will provide overall leadership and management of the Bronx office located at 1200 Waters Place in the Hutchinson Metro Center. The Center Manager will be responsible for all activities, working with regional support to to deliver superior clinical results. Some of your responsibilities include: · Hiring, orientation and training of all personnel, and equipment purchasing · Ensuring compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies · Managing expenses and preparing an annual operating budget · Determining appropriate staffing levels based on patient volume · Managing quality control programs, general safety and infection control plans and ensuring radiation safety practices. · Providing direct patient care as appropriate · Serving as a community educator for all FVC services PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The position requires frequent prolonged periods of standing and the employee must be able to bend over. The employee may occasionally be required to move, with assistance, patients and equipment of up to 200 lbs. There is a two-person assist program and -omaterial assist-? devices for the heavier items. The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials. EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (R.N.) with current license within the applicable state. Bachelor-Ts degree with concentration in nursing, healthcare or business related field preferred. EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: Minimum of two years experience in a surgical, ICU/CCU or nephrology environment. Minimum of one year experience in a supervisory/management role, in a medical facility preferred. Proficiency with the Microsoft office suite is necessary. Experience with medical database software preferred. Demonstrated leadership competencies and management skills for the position, including excellent communication, customer service, continuous quality improvement, relationship development, results orientation, team building, motivating employees, performance management and decision making. Demonstrated management skills necessary to provide leadership in the supervision of facility personnel and to ensure the delivery of maximum quality care to all patients.
