Director - International Financial Services
Key Responsibilities include:
. Partner with Senior Leaders to develop, manage and execute an overall international strategy
. Accountable for leading and managing end-to-end business, including the financial, people and operational/control aspects of the business
. Ensure day-to-day operational, compliance and supervisory aspects of the business are functioning
. Ensure timely and effective responses to compliance, supervision and audit examinations on a priority basis
. Establish operations goals, plans, and infrastructure with a focus on process efficiency and service excellence
. Participate on various committees and projects which convene to collaborate on significant initiatives
. Foster and maintain a high performance culture, where top performers are developed and rewarded accordingly
. Develop and hold managers accountable for retention plans
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
. 10 years relevant financial services and supervisory experience in brokerage operations, supervision, compliance; prefer direct supervisory management experience of Advisors
. Broad knowledge base and experience in financial services with extensive understanding of regulatory markets and compliance requirements
. Strong controls experience and background; International and NRA
. Leadership and influencing skills to drive change
. Superior communication and people management skills
. Excellent presentation skills, effective written and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable dealing with senior management
. FINRA Series 7, 24, 9, 10, 63 and 65 required in addition to meeting FINRA continuing education requirements
. Demonstrated ability to maintain a high performance culture
. Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain and expand relationships with key partners
. College Degree Required
. Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
