The Process Technician position is responsible for:

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

. Creates, procures, and maintains various database-related documents, such as manuals and programmers handbooks. Prepares technical documentation. Maintains advanced currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.
. Leads database administration group in achieving team based goals and initiatives as directed by management. Leads, assists and mentors database administrators and developers on database scripting, design, performance and implementation. Directs and coordinates the work of lower level staff. Handles complex or escalated technical issues. Participates in formal technical reviews, informal technical discussions, and other communication methods. Facilitates and coordinates projects and large-scale team goals as directed by management. Proactively represent the database administration team in various situations as directed by management.

The ideal candidate will typically possess the following:
. Bachelor s degree in computer science, business, information systems management, or related field, or four (4) years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
. Twelve (12) years experience in expert-level database administration and/or software engineering. This will include two (2) years experience coordinating and leading staff in achieving team based goals.
. Database Administration Certification.
. Demonstrated deep experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server or equivalent database systems.
. Expert level of skills with SQL Server tools (e.g., PL*SQL, SQL*Plus, SQL, TSQL, RDBMS, Import, Export, SQL*Loader, Stored procedures, PL-SQL, Triggers, Constraints, Sequences).
