Job Description TheDistributed Systems Engineerwill be part of a team that manages, monitors, and maintains all networked systems for a 24/7 First Data Infrastructure. The Distributed Systems Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, implementation, and maintenance of complex operating system's software and related program products. The Systems Engineer will provide technical consulting on the use and integration of applications into the operating environment and help architect and implement infrastructure solutions that meet or exceed our internal and external customers' expectations. The Engineer will partner with corporate-wide technical staff and large external clients on complex projects and tasks. The role also requires the engineer to identify network related issues and make recommendations for corrective action. The engineer will be required to work independently and with leadership as well as provide coaching to team members.
Job Specific Responsibilities This position requires that the successful candidate must be a lawful permanent resident or US Citizen.
Basic Requirements Has strong knowledge in operating systems, subsystems, and software vendor products.
Understands business issues facing and clients.
6 + years related IT experience.
BS or equivalent experience and appropriate Certifications.
