Lead Test Engineer
Job Description:
•Responsible for planning, leading and conducting CSCI, CI, subsystem and end-to-end satellite ground system testing to demonstrate functionality and requirements compliance.
•Work as an integral member of design and sustainment teams in performance of statement of work requirements.
•Prepare test plans requirement traceability matrices, test procedures, and test reports.
•Interface with the customer and associate contractors in the performance of duties.
•Lead and conduct design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and test plan working group meetings.
•Perform as a hands-on member of installation and test teams.
Qualifications:
•Successful candidates should have a Bachelors degree and 10+ years relevant experience (or commensurate combination of education, training and experience).
•Solid understanding of hardware and software as applied to data processing systems, communication systems, and satellite command and control systems.
•Must be proficient in MS Office applications.
Preferred Additional Skills:
•Knowledge of the DMSP ground system and operations.
•Knowledge of software languages like FORTRAN, C, C++, and Java.
•Knowledge of Windows, VMS, and UNIX/Linux operating systems.
•Previous experience supporting DoD/government customers.
This position requires the candidate to already possess an active Secret clearance and to maintain the clearance.
