We are seeking two Research Technicians for our customer, who is passionate about using science and technology to improve agriculture.The candidate selected for this opportunity will be stationed in Waco, NE research facility to support the submission and registration of our biotech traits pipeline. The candidate will work closely with a Regulatory Field Agronomist and provide support for data collection, tissue sampling, pollinations, compliance auditing, and plot maintenance for corn and soybeans. The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:- Support in planting or harvest- Providing support in corn pollinations- Help to collect tissue samples from corn and soybeans- Be able to lift up to 60 pounds or more at multiple sampling events throughout the field season- Drive to previous field sites to help with compliance volunteer monitoring audits- QC review of data collected from field experiments- Help with day-to-day activities directed by the Regulatory Field Agronomist- Some overnight travel may be required for training or participating in compliance audits - it is intended that a vehicle be provided and all other travel expenses will be reimbursedWorking hours: Monday thru Friday; 8:00am to 4:30pmRequired Qualifications:- Bachelor''s degree in Agriculture, Plant Sciences, Agronomy, Soil Sciences, or Entomology or at least two summers in field research are required- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Must be able to work in high performing teams comprised of multiple disciplinesDesirable Skills:- Attention to detail- Able to follow strict data collection parametersQualified candidates should submit a resume to marissa.culp@randstadusa.com for immediate consideration.
