Description:
SAIC has several requirements for a Librarian for a Learning Center for ESL students. They will provide assistance to students accessing to the Internet and additional software and media to aid language acquisition. Maintain and troubleshoot DVD/VCR players or other media systems that are able to play movies or other English-based media for student use. Install software and hardware updates as needed. Assist students conducting library research to produce an essay of 450-500 words consisting of a minimum of five logically connected, cohesive paragraphs each 90-150 words in length.
Qualifications
:
Minimum qualifications: BA/BS in Library Science, Education, or similar field, and 2 years of experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Desired qualifications: Experience working with ESL students and/or foreign nationals. Familiarity with US military acronyms and culture.
