Rotech Healthcare Inc.is a leading provider of home medical equipment, respiratory equipment and respiratory medications for home use. We have over 500 locations in 48 states.We are seeking aMedical Billing Quality Assurance Specialistfor our Billing Center. In this position you will be responsible for auditing all intake paperwork entered in Rotech’s proprietary Medical Billing System prior to selecting the account to bill.
Job Responsibilities:
* Sorting incoming patient paperwork
* Verifying patient packets are complete, with all documents included.
* Reviewing and auditing forms for accuracy and completeness
* Enters, verifies and files information in the Maintenance Audit Report
* Verifies insurance information to ensure accuracy
* Ensures appropriate authorizations are included from Case Managers
* Corrects errors identified by Claims Supervisors
Job Requirements :
* Knowledge of insurance coverage and carrier requirements, including VA/Managed Care requirements when working with the VA/Managed Care billing center is required
* Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Familiarity with Microsoft applications (including, but not limited to Word and Excel. This role requires extensive computer use. )
* General knowledge of internet navigation and research, e-mail, fax transmission, and copy equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
