Description:
Duties
Under the direction of the section head and project team leaders, or as a project team leader he/she will contribute to the development of conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs in HVAC and building services. This position will require the preparation of design documents, design requirements, design descriptions, technical specifications, tendering documents, standards, procedures and analyses reports for HVAC, building services and mechanical systems for nuclear and non-nuclear facilities.
Qualifications
* B.Sc. (Honours) degree in engineering or applied science from a university of recognized standing
* More than 8 years of engineering experience
* Member of a provincial professional engineering association
* Good knowledge of mechanical engineering and significant working experience in the areas of building design services and HVAC.
* Good knowledge of the ASHRAE and other relevant codes and standards used in the design of HVAC and building systems in nuclear and non-nuclear facilities.
* Project management experience.
* Licensed with Professional Engineers in the province in which you practice or must be in the process of obtaining a licence within the relevant provincial association.
