Must have Credit or Finance or Accounting experience
Department Description Protect MSI Financial Assets through Credit Analysis and Cash Collection for Large State and Local Government accounts
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
Order approval: Pay-term verification, signature authorization, proper documentation, etc.
Collect outstanding receivables
Forecast cash collections
Timely follow through on commitments to both internal and external Customers
Keep Management apprised of systemic issues or Customer specific problems through monthly receivable scrubs
Reconcile Customer accounts to resolve receivable issues
Reconcile project credit workbooks to revenue and shipments for control of project receivable
Miscellaneous projects assigned (where appropriate) to meet specific departmental goals
Use credit holds on delinquent accounts to expedite and facilitate customer payment
Specific Knowledge/Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Organization, attention to detail, and follow-through on commitments are a critical business need
Both Individual and team-based attributes are required
Ability to multi-task is essential
Negotiation and influencing skills a PLUS
Work well with all levels of Motorola and Customer Organizations
Knowledge of SAP, GCC (Clarify), Oracle 11i, MOL, CMS, COF, and other fulfillment related systems a PLUS
PC Skills are required- Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
