Associte Director, Diversity & Inclusion
Location: North Wales, PA
The Associate Director, Diversity and Inclusion provides strategic advice and counsel to the organization-Ts senior management on diversity-related issues and serves as the primary advisor on the research, development and /or modification of diversity programs that support the organization-Ts business objectives. Additionally, the Associate Director, Diversity and Inclusion will consult with the organization-Ts business unit leaders in developing and integrating diversity goals and strategies into business and planning processes and practices.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPercentage of Time
Develop policies and programs to attract, retain and promote a diverse work force for the organization. Work closely with HR to ensure alignment of diversity and inclusion practices and in the development of strategies for talent management and employee development.
Identify areas of opportunity for workforce diversity, lead development and recommendation of courses of action, secure approval, and drive implementation.
Develop training to educate employees and managers on how to recognize, accommodate and appreciate individual differences and how these can be bridged back to assist in meeting company business plans.
Develop metrics for measuring the effectiveness of corporate diversity initiative implemented and prepare annual reports to senior management on the value of the initiatives.
Keep current on diversity programs and developments by maintaining contact with others in the field (e.g., professional association and educational groups, and professional development efforts.)
Serve as the HR ombudsman for diversity issues.
Serve as subject matter expert on workforce diversity best practices, programs and policies
Identify, develop, and foster relationships with relevant external organizations, thought leaders, partners, and vendors.
Bachelor''s Degree in Organization Development, Human Resources,
Business or related field.
Masters degree preferred.
12+ years HR or related experience
7+ years experience in diversity and inclusion development and implementation
Must have External Partnerships and Outreach Initiative experience with external community and affinity/network groups in the overall marketplace.
Intercultural competency (ability to work within a multi-national, multi-ethnic, multi-lingual organization)
Specialized or Technical Knowledge Licenses, Certifications needed:
GPHR Certification preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient understanding of Equal Opportunity Employment (EEO) laws.

Uses data to identify people trends, patterns, opportunities and problems that have an impact on the business.
Advanced level presentation and metrics reporting skills, along with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Proven ability to create and execute human resource strategies and plans in support of the business goals.
Ability to operate within a matrix management structure; ability to influence others who are not direct reports while driving business objectives.
Comfortable working through ambiguous situations and advising senior management on appropriate course of action.
