Will assist in developing an identification process for product standardization that will be used by the product stardardization analysts. The goal is to identify one manufacturer/vendor resource for an item that can be utilized by all services and to leverage the buying power into cost savings.
Will work on a team of three, Business Analyst Lead and .Net developer, to develop applications, tools and systems from requirements created by the Lead Analyst and that will be located in the Visual Studio Team System(VSTS). Development will be done utilizing Oracle, PL*SQL. A formal systems life cycle methodology will be followed. Development will include extractions, validations, transformations, web services.
Will participate in team meetings and client interviews to clarify requirements, peer reviews and project planning.
Will use business intelligence analytics to focus client requirements, to define and extract data from DLA data sources and available external data sources, analyze the data and provide conclusions and recommendations for the client-Ts consideration. Assist in researching and maintaining a knowledgebase of DLA supply chain data which originates from a variety of DoD and commercial sources in regards to identifying products for standardization.
Will develop data extractions, data loads, table creation, functions, triggers, cursers, etc and will assist in providing both recurring reports and customized metrics to identify candidates for standardization across all services.
