Position Description
Leading manufacturer of fresh bread and roll products has an opening for a full time Transport Driver. Position is ideal for someone with a flexible schedule.Loading/unloading may be required on select runs. Union position with benefits. Requires a minimum three (3) years' safe driving record with a class A" CDL. Successful candidates must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. and must satisfy a background check and physical including drug screen. EOE M/F/V/D
Position Requirements
. Complete Resume - must demonstrate complete employment history for past four (4) employers with no unexplained gaps; must include specific dates (month/year) of employment and reason for leaving each employer. . Cover letter. . Must have a valid driver's license / CDL Class A required. . Must have a clean driving record. . Must have high school diploma or GED - proof must be provided for GED. . Must be 21 years of age. . Must be willing to work any shift, weekends, and holidays. . Must have the ability to be on-time and on schedule daily. . Must have the ability to work early morning hours and /or overtime. . Must have the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. . Must submit to and pass a drug screen, DOT physical, DOT road test, and criminal background check. . Must be self-motivated, results oriented, good communication skills and problem solving abilities. . Must have the ability to read and follow written procedures. . Friendly and courteous.
