Are you creative, self-driven, and money motivated? Is an unstructured and open environment just the ticket for you? In this position, you will join a team of reps and a sales manager in selling commercial garbage services to businesses and organizations in the Portland, OR area.
A Day In The Life Of A Waste Connections Sales Representative:

We are a busy, high energy company so the bulk of your time will be spentselling commercial waste removal and disposal services, compactors and baler equipment along with brokering recycled commodities in the Portland metro area.
* This is a high volume selling position spent preparing bids, gathering data for your weekly call reports as well as cold calling new and existing customers.

Your relationship with your customers is crucial. You are their partner in assessing needs and providing effective solutions.
*
Keeping the pipeline full is a must. This includes active participation inbusiness associations, working with non-profit groups, and attending trade shows.
*
In the midst of it all, you need to keep your manager updated on status of all your selling and pipeline efforts and progress includingpreparing bids, sales reports, and tracking revenues.
What You Have To Have:
*
1+ years outside business-to-business sales with a proven track record of success
*
Bachelor's degree required
*
Excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills
