* Reporting to the RC Health Information Management (HIM) Record Management Manager, the RC HIM Record Management Representative is a newly created position responsible for the retrieval of scanned inpatient and outpatient medical records. Additional responsibilities include preparation of reporting. This position ensures patient data is maintained in accordance with accepted standards based on legal and regulatory requirements, best practice guidance and Adventist Health policy. Confidentiality and security of health information are maintained in accordance with current laws, regulations and the hospital information privacy program. The RC HIM Record Management Representative should remain in full compliance with all departmental, institutional, and regulatory policies and procedures at all times.
