Educational Requirements:
Position Requirements: Ability to communicate with residents and staff; Ability to follow directions and to complete assigned tasks. Works with elderly residents, families, and other staff members. Previous experience preferred.
Job Specific Details: Essential Job Functions but not limited to: Hospitality Aide Responsibilities • Acknowledges patients'' and families'' concerns and reports them to the nurse supervisor •Transporting Patients - MUST have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. • Responds to any and all call lights timely. Provides non-hands on care or refers to appropriate person. • Provides privacy and maintains confidentiality. • Performs host/hostess duties in accordance with accepted standards of non-hands-on patient care. Duties include: meal documentation, transporting patients, assisting with meal distribution and presentation, marking./distributing personal laundry, bed making and straightening patient rooms, including drawers and closets, cleaning combs and brushes, delivering ice and water, answering telephone at front desk and directing to appropriate person o delivering snacks to those patients who do not require assistance in feeding, assisting the Activity Director with patient activities as required, running errands for patients and staff. Experience: Ability to communicate with patients and staff effectively, ability to follow directions and to complete assigned tasks on time, prior experience in Healthcare Industry preferred.
